It has been quite a while since my last post, and a LOT has happened during that time. Since describing said events would take quite a lot longer than I’m willing to spend on this, I’ll just say that I’ve had an awesome time. I’ve made some changes to my life and done some things I wouldn’t have done before, I’ve made a bunch of new friends, and I’ve been open to many new things and people. I’ve also learned to stay as positive as possible whenever I can. I see so many people here who always complain and always are sad about something. I really do not want to live like that, so I’ve been actively trying to stay happy and positive.

The summer wasn’t quite as exciting as the fall has been so far, but it is worth mentioning. My job has been taught me a lot, and I’m glad I worked where I had to deal with angry people all the time before starting my “new life” at college. Also during the summer, I did some fun things with friends that made summer worthwhile. Besides the baseball games in NYC (as mentioned in my last post), I went to the big apple again to enjoy the city and Central Park with most of my closest friends. I also had one of my favorite meals during that trip, and that was GoGo Curry, a Japanese curry joint on some street in NYC. I worked pretty much all summer and prepared for the next year at college, which is where I am now.

I’ve moved plenty of times in my life, so that wan’t a problem at all. I knew what to bring and I already knew I wouldn’t have major problems with my roomate. Good start. I also had a few friends also attending my school, so if for some reason I had a hard time making friends, I’d have backup, although I’m pretty used to finding my niche in a new environment. I became very comfortable my first week or so and realized that this school was the right choice.

It’s been over a month and I’ve had nothing but fun here. I’ve already changed a lot, and I think I’m all the better for it. I might post more later with some college insight or random shenanigans I’m up to, but for now, I’m out.

Cheers!
