Today was a wonderful day. It seems like I’ve been having lots of them lately…which is a good thing! First off, my uncle came yesterday, and its always awesome to have him come over. He’s from Michigan, but he was at a conference in Delaware so he stopped by. Last night was full of guitar hero 3, oblivion, and gears of war and then this morning he taught me and my brother so much about music. I learned more today than I’ve learned in quite a while, because he can play drums, guitar (all types) and the harmonica, and we have all 3 of them. He taught me lots on electric, some on acoustic, and some harmonica stuff. He also taught my brother how to play the drums a little better, and he helped us get a cool jam goin…my brother was keeping the beat while I just played the 12 bar blues and we would mix it up. I learned a few scales and everything…fun times!

We then went to Philly to get cheesesteaks from Pat’s. Of course I got “wit,” but I made the mistake of getting provolone instead of wiz. I like provolone better around here, but when you go to Pat’s, you just gotta get cheese whiz. I tried one with wiz after I ate mine and it was so delicious. Mine was too, but next time (hopefully soon!), I’m getting cheese whiz. We explored Philly a bit, then came home to jam some more. Fun day all in all. Oh, and I saw Sadie at Target! (thought that was worthy of being added =D) I also bought a few things at Barnes and Noble and I met Anthony Horowitz, an author that I used to love (read several of his books a long time ago). He was doing a Q&A session and it was pretty cool.

All I can think about is music right now, so I’ll end this and go play some drums or harmonica or something. Peace.
